■High pressure mercury lamp:
At present, the light sources used in industrial UV equipment are mainly gas discharge lamps (mercury lamps). According to the pressure of the gas in the lamp cavity, it is divided into low pressure, medium pressure, high pressure and ultra high pressure. Industrial production and curing usually use high pressure mercury lamps (in the hot state, the pressure in the cavity is 0.1-0.5/MPa).
High-pressure mercury lamps can produce characteristic ultraviolet light (UV), visible light and infrared light (IR) with strong radiation wavelengths of 310nm, 365nm, and 410nm. Among them, the wavelength of 365nm as the main peak is the wavelength band commonly used in countries all over the world for curing and drying (conventional The so-called "UV lamp" refers to the 365nm high-pressure mercury lamp).
■Metal halide lamp:
Industrial production and curing usually use high-pressure mercury lamps. Since high-pressure mercury lamps are excited by pure mercury, they emit discontinuous characteristic spectra, which are not "rich". Adding corresponding metal halides, such as ferric bromide, can strengthen and enrich the effective ultraviolet rays of the lamp.
■Ozone-free UV lamp:
This type of UV lamp has better performance than the high-pressure mercury lamp: that is, it emits strong UV light and does not generate ozone, which is environmentally friendly, safe, and humanized. Mainly on the basis of high-pressure mercury lamps, by changing the material composition of the tube wall, the ultraviolet light below 200nm is cut off, and at the same time, it has no effect on the transmission of ultraviolet light above 200nm, thereby avoiding the high concentration of ozone generated by short-wave radiation, which is harmful to the use environment and operation. This type of UV lamp is one of the more environmentally friendly ideal products.

1) Transformers and capacitors of corresponding specifications must be equipped when using;
2) Before use, the surface of the lamp tube must be wiped clean with absolute ethanol, and it is strictly forbidden to touch it directly with hands;
3) The lamp is discharged by high-pressure mercury vapor to produce strong long-wave violet radiation (the main wavelength is 365 nanometers);
4) Strong ultraviolet rays can burn eyes and skin, so avoid direct light exposure during use;
5) The lamp tube is accidentally damaged, causing mercury vapor to be emitted. The personnel on site must leave immediately and keep the site ventilated for 20-30 minutes to prevent mercury vapor from being inhaled and cause poisoning; clean up the site in time when it is safe, and the recovered mercury raw materials can be recovered.
